The Story Behind Glory Be School

Glory Be School was named after two very inspirational leaders in our church. Lori Arthur-Morman was Director of Children and Family Ministries for over eight years before being overcome by ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She always harbored the dream of opening a school at the church.

Bea McDonald, another inspiration in the church, cared for the children in the nursery for over 40 years. She continued even when her health began to deteriorate and she developed macular degeneration, leaving her almost entirely blind. She left behind a legacy of caring, nurturing, and love throughout the church and the community.

These two shining examples of love, caring and dedication are the spirit of G-Lori-Bea School.

Philosophy of Glory Be School

Our  mission is to provide a high quality Christ-centered educational experience for your child. We emphasize the spiritual, emotional, social and physical development in a safe and caring environment. We teach the children basic Christian values and principles on a daily basis. We believe that children are our most precious gift from God.

Our main emphasis is to meet the needs and abilities of each individual child and build that important foundation for future academic success. We provide academic fundamentals and care for your child from infants through pre-kindergarten.

            7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

            Toddler (up to three years)
            Mon-Fri. 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

            Preschool (three year olds)
            M-W-F 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
            or T-Th 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

            Pre-Kindergarten (four year olds)
            M-W-F 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
