Glory Be Learning Center is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church.
Glory Be School was named after two very inspirational leaders in our church. Lori Arthur-Morman was Director of Children and Family Ministries for over eight years before being overcome by ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She always harbored the dream of opening a school at the church.
Bea McDonald, another inspiration in the church, cared for the children in the nursery for over 40 years. She continued even when her health began to deteriorate and she developed macular degeneration, leaving her almost entirely blind. She left behind a legacy of caring, nurturing, and love throughout the church and the community.
These two shining examples of love, caring and dedication are the spirit of G-Lori-Bea School.

As someone once wrote, “The decision to have a child is to allow your heart to walk around outside your body.”
In keeping with the philosophy that faith is caught, not taught, we seek to form relationships with your children that reflect the love of God.
At First Presbyterian Church all ages gather for worship each Sunday at 9:00 and 11am. Children are dismissed from worship for Christian education classes.
You are always welcome here! If you have any questions about the congregation or wish to talk with a pastor, please call the church office at 667-8446 or email: cdafirstpres@cdafirstpres.org.
